Shinken Katana
Shinken is a term for live blades used for tameshigiri (cutting).  All our cutting blades are hand forged and differentially tempered.  These are real katana made for real use.

Iaito Katana
Unsharpened Japanese swords designed for training.  We carry a range of steel and aluminum alloy practice katana for the martial art student. These blades are not designed for impacting any object, but will hold up to years of heavy practice.

Wakizashi (short swords)

Wakizashi are Japanese short swords.  The blades are all hand forged and differentially tempered like the shinken katana.  These are the companion pieces for katana with matching fittings.

Three Monkey Wakizashi

Tanto (daggers)

Tanto are Japanese daggers.  The blades are all hand forged and differentially tempered like the shinken katana.  These are the companion pieces with matching fittings.

Stick Katana

Straight katana made popular by the Zatoichi TV shows and movies.

Misc Weapons
Yari (spears), Naginata (polearm), Kama (sickle), Shuriken (Darts) and Ninja-to (Ninja Sword) and More.  Functional high quality weapons.

Bokken

Wooden training swords used for blocking and paired practice kata.  These safe and affordable training tools are a great way to start down the path.

Shinai

Split bamboo swords used for kendo practice.  Useful for safe blocking practice.

Yanone (Arrowheads)

These yanone are faithfully reproduced from originals in museum collections. Some yanone were strictly utilitarian while others, like most of these examples, were beautifully pierced and decorated and used primarily for presentations and temple offerings.
